Lost Canyons started as a couple of friends, Mitch and Kennan attending Montana State University. Kennan and Mitch met while on a retreat during their respective freshman and sophomore years. Out of that experience came the 5 piece indie rock band that Lost Canyons is today. We hang our hats on heartfelt lyricism, driving guitars and a hell of a live show to boot. Big Sky Bonus Tracks says Lost Canyons "conjures visions of sunshine and hot summer vibes with music that is complimented suspiciously well with a crisp beverage."

Nestled in the mountains of Bozeman Montana, we pull inspiration from the vast landscapes of the Last Best Place. Combining aspects of indie, folk, rock, funk, and bluegrass, Lost Canyons brings a sound that is unique, moving, and a breath of fresh air.

With headlining our own festivals, as well as opening for the likes of Mat Kearney, the Lil Smokies, and Night Moves, this award winning band is just getting started. Lost Canyons is here to rock the rafters and have a damn good time doing it.
